Reclaiming youth, Inspiring & Supporting them while they pursue their dreams using the gifts they’ve been given

Meheret FC (translated Mercy) takes a multifaceted approach to football as a sport and how it is intentionally developing its’ players and club culture. The idea for the club was born out of a place of love and a belief that sport is the great equalizer no matter socio-economic status or background.

We believe that when commitment & hard work is put forth, results follow. Our desire is to see that fleshed out in real lives throughout the club. We wish to give each person in the club the ability to bloom and use their gifts to show the world exactly what they are meant to be.

The club will be built on five pillars (Humbleness. Determination. Selflessness. Ambition. Respect). These pillars serve as a lens through which to view our goals and ambitions.

We will look for players and staff, supporters and members who are committed to these pillars. The club will instill and seek to develop these characteristics through football.
